Thanks to its classic colonial architecture, unique gardens, natural colour scheme and tropical design elements, Villa Bogor has a timeless charm. With six bedrooms spread over two floors and the estate spanning some 1,400 square metres, the Villa feels like a private boutique hotel hidden in trendy Canggu.
The living room is a beautiful open-plan space located on the ground floor of the villa, providing unobstructed views of the pool and garden. The space is dominated by an elegant U-shaped sofa lounge which offers more than enough space for the whole group to relax and swap stories after a day spent exploring the island. When you feel like taking a dip, the 18 metre pool is literally just a few steps away.
Located right behind the living room lounge is the villa’s spacious dining area where guests can enjoy relaxed meals together accompanied by picture-perfect views of the pool and garden. The dining table itself is a talking piece, crafted from an ancient fossilised tree. The table can seat 14 guests with ease, with beautiful wicker lanterns illuminating the dining area and the carved artwork that frames it. Discreetly tucked behind the partition wall is the villa’s fully equipped kitchen.
Located on the upper floor, the Villa features a cool media room complete with plush lounge seating in that iconic shade of cinema red. The kids and adults love it!
It’s easy to have fun at Villa Bogor. Besides the cinema room upstairs and the huge pool waiting right outside, the villa also has a games room with your very own pool table. Located right next to games room is a Villa Bogor’s compact fitness room / office which includes all the basic training equipment you’ll need to stay in shape during your stay.
The 6-bedroom can sleep up to 14 guests. There are five spacious bedrooms in the main building and there is one bedroom in the guest villa by the pool. All six air-conditioned bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds, elegant wardrobes, a TV and feature private ensuite bathrooms. Relax in the deep-soaking bathtub or under the rainfall shower. There are three large bedrooms upstairs, and downstairs are two side by side rooms as well as a separate guest room ideal for teens or grandparents.
The villa is the perfect getaway for a group of friends or families, with one of the bedrooms on ground level being a family room, with bunk beds sleeping 4 guests.
As you venture outdoors, the standout feature is of course the 18-metre-long swimming pool which sits right at the heart of the estate. The pool includes a shallow section where kids can splash and play – or maybe the grownups prefer to relax here with a cold drink in hand? The pool is surrounded by a generous deck dotted with sun loungers and parasols, with a bale gazebo offering a place in the shade.
Then there are the gardens, which feature actual rice paddies and a picturesque little bridge built over a stream. The garden is not just for show either, but is used to cultivate bananas, avocados, lemons, rambutans and more!
Villa Bogor is located in the heart of Canggu, Bali. You’ll find a number of hotspots like The Lawn, Old Man’s, revolver café and Mynx spa within a few minutes walk. It is quietly set in a peaceful lane of Jalan Nelayan, just 500 meters away from the fisherman’s beach Nelayan in Canggu.
