You enter past a sweet Ganesha statue, through Balinese gates to find the pool welcoming you. Here swaying palms and rattan lounges await! The home with Mediterranean-washed walls and French windows is nestled behind tropical foliage and surrounded by bamboo garden walls. The garden and pool area is very private and enjoys plenty of sunshine. On the entrance, the huge open-plan living space is full of light, with its high ceilings and feature chandelier. There is a comfortable sofa area at the front of the space which bends around to the dining table and fully equipped kitchen. A TV hidden discreetly behind antique decorative doors can be enjoyed from the sofas. There are some fantastic antique pieces, tall indoor plants, and wonderful black and white checkered floors to enjoy. The entire living room can be opened to enjoy tropical breezes or closed with ease. The side courtyard is entered via French arched doors and features two more lounge chairs with vibrant rose cushions and a Balinese umbrella. There is also a lovely outdoor dining table here, underneath a Hindu temple where guests can enjoy al fresco meals.
The first bedroom is to the right of the front door and enjoys views out to the pool. It has natural linens, a writing desk, and a robe. This bedroom has a lovely ensuite bathroom with a large shower. The second and master bedroom enjoys an outlook to the side courtyard, with French doors opening to this outdoor area. With romantic navy netting a view of the temple heights and a stunning tropical ensuite. The bathroom features a freestanding white bathtub, a double vanity, and a separate rain shower. All bedrooms have wooden flooring and colourful kilim rugs, allowing for a casual luxury. The third bedroom is across the hallway from the master and also has an amazing ensuite bathroom featuring a double shower. This room has a green bed canopy and rattan furnishings, with a huge French window letting light in from the bathroom.
The house can be fully enclosed but with clever use of light and design, there is a natural flow from the outdoors in. The overall mood is creative and dreamy, ideal for an Island holiday! There is daily housekeeping and delivery from several restaurants available as well as a simple in-villa cooking service for those wishing to dine in.
