This is a contemporary sanctuary set in almost an acre of tropical gardens in the up and coming Tumbak Bayuh area. Close to the excitement of central Canggu, but far enough away to ensure a private Villa experience. Located a 5-minute drive from the quaint area of Pererenan, slightly inland guests can enjoy a very local Village surrounding. By car, you will be at the beach in under ten minutes.
In the sanctuary of the Villa, no detail has been overlooked – every piece of furniture has been custom designed specifically for the villa, and each piece of unique artwork, personally chosen by the Villa owners.
Families and sport fanatics will enjoy the 40-metre pool, air-conditioned gym, spa services and a Yoga pavilion overlooking the pool and rice paddies. There is a shallow end of the pool, which is shaded until midday – perfect for little ones to have some splash time. And at the other end, there is a Jacuzzi that begs to be used for sunset drinks. Book in the car and driver and visit some of Bali’s temples and historic sites, enjoy a surf, or stroll through the streets of Canggu, just 10 minutes away.
The outdoor sunken living room and BBQ area is an alternative for casual dinners and takes advantage of the breeze in Canggu at night. And with almost 200m square metres of neatly manicured lawn, The Palm House is the perfect location to celebrate special occasions and sophisticated events. The Palm House is the perfect destination with a group of friends or loved ones – kick back with a Martini, or have Chef create and prepare a delicious meal exclusively for you and your guests.
BEDROOMS
The Palm House can accommodate 12 guests with extra guests on request. There are 5 ensuite bedrooms (3 rooms can be configured as twin beds, 1 room with 4 single bunk beds for children and a double bed), luxury roll-away beds available to accommodate up to 16 guests at supplementary cost, and stunning tropical views from the picture windows of every bedroom.
One bedroom is located on the ground level near to the gym and BBQ area. This room can be twin on request. Upstairs in the semi open air hallways you will find four more bedrooms. The first master is a King size bed and opposite is the entry to the kids bunk room. This sweet room features two sets of bunks and a double bed along with play table for the mini VIPs.
The designs of the bedrooms are understated luxury – softly muted colors mixed with antique woods. Unique pieces of antiques and artwork adorn the walls. The wardrobes are walk-in and the bathrooms feature a mix of marble and teak wood, an oversized freestanding bathtub, as well as spacious shower stalls. With the exception of the Children’s room, where there is a double head massive shower, in the space of the tub.
The mattresses are hotel-grade, thick and luxurious, wrapped in Egyptian cotton bedding. A comfortable sitting area is furnished with a custom-made sofa and desk. Sheer curtains ensure total privacy while enjoying the light, but for those that want to sleep in, every bedroom is equipped with black out curtains.
LIVING AREAS
The outdoor lounge and dining room on the ground floor opens seamlessly onto the manicured grass lawn with expansive pool and jungle views. This formal dining area seats 12 guests.
The entertainment room is just off of the main stairway and houses 2 oversized modular sofas with plenty of pillows to go around. This is a perfect place to wind down in the air conditioning while watching your favourite movie, or playing from our selection of board games.
The enclosed lounge and dining room directly off the Chef’s kitchen is the heart of the villa. With a dining table for 12 guests where breakfast is normally served, and a superbly comfortable lounge sofa for taking in the sights at the Palm House, many of our guests end up spending most of their time in this part of the house.
For further outdoor entertaining, there is a sunken living room flanked by the jacuzzi and a large stone fire pit – great for cocktails and casual dining nights. This space, which has a lovely breeze at night, has a large built-in barbecue, sink and fridge alongside a bench-style cocktail bar.
