FAMILY VILLA IN THE HEART OF BERAWA….
Villa Sarasvati is a four-bedroom plus media room villa, located in the trendy area of Berawa, Canggu. The Villa has excellent additional facilities that are shared with its neighbouring three Villas. A spa, children’s playground and gym as well as the expansive gardens allow for plenty of activity for everyone.
The property is a 5-minute drive to Pantai Berewa Beach, near to Finns Beach Club and countless fantastic cafes, spas and boutiques. For those wanting to walk to shops and cafes in Berewa, this is an ideal location!
The main villa comprises, a long entrance hall, four air-conditioned bedrooms, an air conditioned living & dining pavilion with a feature kitchen, an air-conditioned TV lounge, a pergola garden room, flat lawn and 18-metre lap pool. The tropical architecture utilizes local materials while the eclectic interiors ooze with style, visual texture, antiques and rich fabrics.
A timber relaxation gazebo, an elevated rice field shelter known as a ‘Pondok’, a giant chess set and a Pétanque court, set within an exceptional rambling garden.
There are four air-conditioned bedrooms at Villa Sarasvati, stunningly furnished with a king-size bed and an antique wardrobe, complemented by lush soft furnishings, and equipped with a TV/DVD player. The rustic ensuite bathrooms are semi open-air, sheltered by a pergola roof and extending out into a private walled garden. Two bedrooms are downstairs and two are upstairs. The two bedrooms upstairs have the media / family room between them so this creates a great family zone. The media room can also be set up as an extra bedroom with two more beds.
The master bedroom in the main villa is on ground level, entered via an anteroom and completed with a huge dressing room. The ensuite indoor/outdoor master bathroom is equipped with a freestanding terrazzo bathtub, positioned within a glass walled area, with doors that can be slid open to the private garden for a semi-alfresco bathing experience. There are two rain showers, one indoors and one open to the sky in the spacious shrub-filled garden. Each bedroom in the main villa, including the master, has a built-in cushioned daybed along one wall, a four-poster king size bed, teak furnishings, and a TV/DVD player. These daybeds can be used to sleep children in with their parents.
Each ensuite bathroom is fitted with twin washbasins, walk-in rain shower and bathtub. The downstairs guestroom has a semi open-air bathroom bordered by an ornamental pond with Ganesha statues spouting running water. The two upstairs bathrooms are characterized by open air rooftop terraces, each with a romantic outdoor bathtub resting under a pergola.
Family room
The cozy, air-conditioned family room and home theatre is located upstairs, and fitted with a 49” satellite-channel TV, DVD player, surround sound and a Wii game. It is furnished with a huge L-shaped segmented sofa with colourful padded covers. This room also doubles as a sleep area for kids, and is well equipped with games, books and movies.
Kitchen & Living Area
Positioned to one side of the dining area is a self-contained kitchen, fully equipped with an imported oven and hob, a large refrigerator, and everything else that the chef needs in order to prepare delicious meals, in accordance with the whims of his guests. The main living area is very comfortable and stylishly decorated allowing for an excellent get-together zone. This pavilion can also close from the pool and outdoors which is popular with families with young kids to keep them out of the pool at meal times and also to utilize the air-conditioned space in the more humid months.
Spa
Located in a communal area, the indoor treatment room has two massage beds. This is supported by a rest area, a six-person sauna, a cold water outdoor Jacuzzi, a warm water indoor Jacuzzi bathtub, lockers, showers and toilets. Here, skilled therapists combine beauty and well-being with traditional treatments such as mandi lulur, reflexology, or Balinese massage designed to relax tired muscles and relieve stress while awakening mind, body and soul. Treatment can either take place, in the villa itself, where two portable massage beds can be installed, at your convenience in the bedrooms or in the private gardens.
Gym
An impressive, air-conditioned, glass-fronted gym is located adjacent to the spa. The gym is fully equipped with a Power Plate for acceleration training, an exercise bike, a bench, weights, a body solid multi gym, a treadmill and a satellite channel TV.
Children’s Playground
Another great facility, provided for kids is the fully equipped children’s playground, which is a rare feature at villas in Bali. Set in a walled area close to the gym, the playground presents a sandpit, a Cubby house, twin swings, a slide and a baby slide. At one end of the snaking pathway is an antique ‘bale’ pavilion, where the adults can relax on cushions while they watch over the kids.
