Named after the Hindu Goddess of marital felicity and longevity, sati is situated within an elite enclave close to the rugged Berawa surf beach at Canggu. The four-bedroom Villa sati is fully self contained and completely private with its own garden, swimming pool, living & dining pavilion and kitchen, while sharing the common facilities of a spa, gym, children’s playground with three neighboring Villas.
This Villa is a destination within its own right, with plenty of space for group members to retreat when they want some quiet time.
Heralded by a grand, brick-walled entrance with a towering ‘joglo’ roof, Villa sati comprises four freestanding bedroom ‘villas’, a living & dining pavilion with an adjoining kitchen, and an antique ‘lumbung’ (rice barn) relaxation pavilion. The freestanding buildings are leisurely spread around a majestic freeform swimming pool. The grounds are large and each pavilion has plenty of privacy from the others which suits a group of friends or families with slightly older children.
The property blends contemporary architecture and local materials such as red brick, natural stone, and rustic river rock with a series of antique joglos – the traditional wooden houses of Java. The air-conditioned bedroom pavilions showcase the distinctive trapezium-shaped joglo roofs, clad in red tiles, yet gone are the dark, enclosing wooden walls in favour of floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors. This allows the light to stream in, accentuating the elaborately-carved honey-hued teakwood structures, which signify these historical buildings.
The open-sided living and dining pavilion is divided into a sitting area and a dining area. The sitting area is furnished with comfortable sofas, armchairs, colourful cushions, and a coffee table. Meanwhile, the dining area is furnished with large teakwood dining table for 14, lit by glass dome hanging lanterns and accessorised with brass gongs.
Positioned to one side of the dining area is a self-contained kitchen, fully equipped with an imported oven and hob, a large refrigerator, a wine cooler, and everything else that the chef needs in order to prepare delicious meals, in accordance with the whims of his guests.
Villa sati boasts an enticing freeform swimming pool bordered by a stone deck, furnished with sun loungers and umbrellas, against the romantic backdrop of palms, pandanas, frangipanis and flowering shrubs.

Spa
Located in a communal area, the indoor treatment room has two massage beds. This is supported by a rest area, a six-person sauna, a cold water outdoor Jacuzzi, a warm water indoor Jacuzzi bathtub, lockers, showers and toilets. Here, skilled therapists combine beauty and well-being with traditional treatments such as mandi lulur, reflexology, or Balinese massage designed to relax tired muscles and relieve stress while awakening mind, body and soul. Treatment can either take place, in the villa itself, where two portable massage beds can be installed, at your convenience in the bedrooms or in the private gardens.
Gym
An impressive, air-conditioned, glass-fronted gym is located adjacent to the spa. The gym is fully equipped with a Power Plate for acceleration training, an exercise bike, a bench, weights, a body solid multi gym, a treadmill and a satellite channel TV.
Children’s Playground
Another great facility, provided for kids is the fully equipped children’s playground, which is a rare feature at villas in Bali. Set in a walled area close to the gym, the playground presents a sandpit, a Cubby house, twin swings, a slide and a baby slide. At one end of the snaking pathway is an antique ‘bale’ pavilion, where the adults can relax on cushions while they watch over the kids.
